Maine High School Lacrosse - Smithfield overwhelms Bangor

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Smithfield Sentinels lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-5 triumph over the Bangor Rams.
The Sentinels (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Middletown (Middletown, RI). The Islanders go into the Division 2 challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Middletown held off South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI), 7-6, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Rams clash with the Edward Little Red Eddies (Auburn, ME) in a Class A challenge, on Tuesday, April 22. Bangor will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
