The York Wildcats lacrosse squad scored 14 points and limited the host Deering Rams to 5 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Marshwood for a Class B challenge on Saturday, April 26.

With the loss, Deering falls to 1-1 on the year. The Rams travel to Thornton Academy (Saco, ME) to clash with the Trojans in a Class A challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Thornton Academy lost 19-7 in their recent league challenge against Falmouth (Falmouth, ME)
