The West Essex Knights lacrosse squad scored 11 points and limited the visiting Sparta Spartans to 6 in the Knights non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Knights now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Columbia for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 24. West Essex will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 12-5 non-league loss to New Providence (New Providence, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Sparta falls to 4-3 on the year. The Spartans host Moorestown (Moorestown, NJ) to clash with the Quakers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Quakers go into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Moorestown won 8-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Ridgewood (Ridgewood, NJ)
