Washington High School Softball - Anacortes bounces Squalicum

The Anacortes Seahawks softball team scored 21 runs and held the visiting Squalicum Storm to 1 in the Seahawks league win on Saturday.

The Seahawks now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lynden Christian for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle on Tuesday, April 22. Anacortes will confront a Lyncs team coming off a 7-5 league win over Mt. Baker (Deming, WA). The Lyncs record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Squalicum moves to 0-10 on the season. The Storm host Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA) to confront the Bulldogs in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle on Tuesday, April 22. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 9-2. Mount Vernon won 17-2 in their recent league battle against Meridian (Bellingham, WA)
