Kentucky High School Softball - Anderson County bounces Holy Cross

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Anderson County Bearcats softball team scored a nice 16-2 win over the Holy Cross Cougars.

The Bearcats (15-5) will now prepare for their match against Lafayette (Lexington, KY). The Generals come into the non-league match with a 13-4 record. In their last match, Lafayette was routed by East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY), 3-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Atherton Ravens (Louisville, KY) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 21. Holy Cross will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Ravens come into the match with a 3-8 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to North Hardin (Radcliff, KY).
