The Batavia Bulldogs softball team scored 9 runs and held the host De La Salle Meteors to 2 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Charles North for a DuKane battle on Monday, April 21. Batavia will confront a North Stars team coming off a 11-5 non-league win over Naperville Central (Naperville, IL). The North Stars record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, De La Salle moves to 12-5 on the season. The Meteors host Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park (Chicago, IL) to confront the Hawks in a non-league battle on Monday, April 21. The Hawks come into the battle with a record of 8-1. Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park won 16-13 in their recent non-league battle against Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL)
