Ohio High School Softball - Boardman gets by Champion

April 19, 2025: Warren, OH 44483

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH) and the host Champion Golden Flashes (Warren, OH), observed Boardman's softball team get by Champion by a tally of 2-1.

The Spartans (13-2) will now prepare for their bout against Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH). The Rams go into the non-league bout with a 10-2 record.

In their next game, the Golden Flashes clash with the Crestview Rebels (Columbiana, OH) in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Grey bout, on Monday, April 21. Champion will attempt to advance on its 9-1 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 10-7 league loss to Southeast (Ravenna, OH).
