The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Boone County Rebels (Florence, KY) and the host Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY), observed Boone County's softball team prevail over Nicholas County by a tally of 13-3.

The Rebels (3-12) will now prepare for their bout against Frankfort (Frankfort, KY). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 4-6 record. In their last bout, Frankfort was routed by Western Hills (Frankfort, KY), 13-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bluejackets clash with the Dayton Greendevils (Dayton, KY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 21. Nicholas County will attempt to advance on its 3-14 season record. The Greendevils go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 22-5 league win over Newport (Newport, KY).
