In Saturday's non-league test, the Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV), by a tally of 14-0.
Next, the Knights clash with the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs (Carroll, OH) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 19. Cabell Midland will attempt to advance on its 15-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 11-0 record after their 17-0 league win over Hamilton Township (Columbus, OH).
The Big Blacks (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, Parkersburg South prevailed over Hurricane (Hurricane, WV), 5-0, in a non-league test.
