The Marengo Indians softball team scored 21 runs and held the visiting Central Rockets to 15 in the Indians non-league win on Saturday.

The Indians now possess a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Richmond-Burton for a Kishwaukee River battle on Tuesday, April 22. Marengo will confront a Rockets team coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Oswego East (Oswego, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 12-5.

With the loss, Central moves to 7-7 on the season. The Rockets host Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL) to confront the Wolves in a Fox Valley battle on Monday, April 21. The Wolves come into the battle with a record of 10-0. Prairie Ridge won 14-2 in their recent non-league battle against Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL)
