The Woodstock North Thunder the visiting Crystal Lake Central Tigers softball squad by a count of 6-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Thunder meet the LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers (LaSalle, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 19. Woodstock North will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 15-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Webster Thomas (Webster, NY).
The Tigers (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The Huskies enter the non-league challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Harlem edged Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL), 12-2, in a league challenge.
