In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Darien Blue Wave softball team scored a tight 4-1 win over the Immaculate Mustangs.
The Blue Wave (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Wilton (Wilton, CT). The Warriors come into the Fairfield County match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Wilton was routed by Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT), 5-4, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Joel Barlow Falcons (Redding, CT) in a Southwest - Colonial match, on Monday, April 21. Immaculate will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record.
