The Fitch Falcons overwhelmed the host East Haven Yellowjackets softball squad by a count of 11-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Falcons meet the Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 21. Fitch will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 6-5 league win over North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI).
The Yellowjackets (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Branford (Branford, CT). The Hornets go into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Branford toppled Wilbur Cross (New Haven, CT), 22-4, in a non-league challenge.
