Grand Lake Hornets (Lake Charles, LA) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host East Iberville Tigers (St. Gabriel, LA), 7-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Grand Lake upgrades its record to 16-13 on the year. The Hornets travel to DeQuincy (DeQuincy, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 23. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 20-14. DeQuincy won 20-2 in their recent non-league game against Lakeview (Campti, LA)

The Tigers now own a 6-16 record.
