The Franklin Central Flashes softball team scored 19 runs and held the visiting Edwardsburg Eddies to 5 in the Flashes non-league win on Saturday.

The Flashes now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Noblesville for a Hoosier Crossroads battle on Tuesday, April 22. Franklin Central will confront a Millers team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Lawrence North (Indianapolis, IN). The Millers record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Edwardsburg moves to 8-5 on the season. The Eddies travel to Lake Central (St. John, IN) to confront the Indians in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 19. The Indians come into the battle with a record of 9-0. Lake Central won 17-1 in their recent league battle against Portage (Portage, IN)
