The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Franklin Central Flashes (Indianapolis, IN) and the visiting Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL), observed Franklin Central's softball team get by Lincoln-Way Central by a tally of 6-3.
The Flashes (5-4) will now prepare for their bout against Lake Central (St. John, IN). The Indians go into the non-league bout with a 9-0 record. In their last bout, Lake Central tipped Portage (Portage, IN), 17-1, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Knights clash with the Edwardsburg Eddies (Edwardsburg, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 19. Lincoln-Way Central will attempt to advance on its 11-1 season record. The Eddies go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 14-1 non-league win over Concord (Elkhart, IN).
