In Saturday's non-league match, the host Gladstone Braves softball team scored a tight 6-3 win over the Ithaca Yellowjackets.

The Braves (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Menominee (Menominee, MI). The Maroons come into the Great Northern U.P. match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Menominee was routed by Peshtigo (Peshtigo, WI), 15-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets confront the Unionville-Sebewaing Patriots (Sebewaing, MI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 19. Ithaca will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record. The Patriots come into the match with a 4-3 record after their 12-2 league loss to Cass City (Cass City, MI).
