In Saturday's non-league test, the Somerville Pioneers (Somerville, NJ) softball squad overwhelmed the host Hopatcong Chiefs (Hopatcong, NJ), by a tally of 13-0.

Next, the Pioneers meet the Mount Olive Marauders (Flanders, NJ) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 21. Somerville will attempt to advance on its 9-1 season record. The Marauders go into the test with a 4-6 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Bridgewater-Raritan (Bridgewater, NJ).

The Chiefs (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Parsippany (Parsippany, NJ). The Redhawks go into the non-league test with a 6-0 record. In their last test, Parsippany prevailed over Mountain Lakes (Mountain Lakes, NJ), 12-1, in a non-league test.
