The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Raritan Rockets (Hazlet, NJ) and the visiting Lacey Township Lions (Lanoka Harbor, NJ), observed Raritan's softball team get by Lacey Township by a tally of 9-3.

The Rockets (8-0) will now prepare for their bout against Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ). The Hornets go into the Shore - A Central bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, Holmdel tipped Manasquan (Manasquan, NJ), 10-6, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Barnegat Bengals (Barnegat, NJ) in a Shore - B South bout, on Tuesday, April 22. Lacey Township will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Bengals go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Toms River East (Toms River, NJ).
