In Saturday's non-league test, the Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) softball squad got by the host Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN), by a tally of 1-0.
Next, the Knights meet the Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban test, on Monday, April 21. Lincoln-Way Central will attempt to advance on its 13-1 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 4-7 record after their 10-0 league loss to Lockport (Lockport, IL).
With the loss, Lake Central moves to 11-1 on the season. The Indians host Edwardsburg (Edwardsburg, MI) to confront the Eddies in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 19. The Eddies come into the battle with a record of 7-2. Edwardsburg won 13-0 in their recent non-league battle against Berrien Springs (Berrien Springs, MI)
