The Lawrence County Bulldogs softball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Western Brown Broncos to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greenup County for a non-league battle on Monday, April 21. Lawrence County will encounter a Musketeers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Rowan County (Morehead, KY). The Musketeers record now stands at 14-2.

With the loss, Western Brown moves to 14-2 on the season. The Broncos host Wilmington (Wilmington, OH) to encounter the Hurricane in a Southern Buckeye AA - American battle on Wednesday, April 23. The Hurricane come into the battle with a record of 3-4. Wilmington won 10-1 in their recent non-league battle against East Clinton (Sabina, OH)
