The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL) and the host Richmond-Burton Rockets (Richmond, IL), observed Lincoln-Way East's softball team notch a victory over Richmond-Burton by a final score of 12-0.

The Griffins (14-0) will now prepare for their bout against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Warriors go into the SouthWest Suburban bout with a 13-4 record. In their last bout, Lincoln-Way West gained a win over Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL), 12-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Rockets battle the Oswego East Wolves (Oswego, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 19. Richmond-Burton will attempt to better on its 12-5 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 10-9 league win over Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL).
