The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) and the visiting Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL), observed Lincoln-Way West's softball team notch a victory over Plainfield Central by a final score of 12-2.

The Warriors (13-4) will now prepare for their bout against Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Griffins go into the SouthWest Suburban bout with a 14-0 record. In their last bout, Lincoln-Way East gained a win over Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL), 12-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL) in a Suburban Prairie - South bout, on Monday, April 21. Plainfield Central will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Steelmen go into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 32-0 league loss to Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL).
