In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Prospect Knights softball team scored a tight 4-2 win over the Maine South Hawks.
The Knights (12-2) will now prepare for their match against Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL). The Mustangs come into the Mid-Suburban East match with a 3-8 record. In their last match, Rolling Meadows by Barrington (Barrington, IL), 13-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Hawks confront the Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) in a Central Suburban - South match, on Tuesday, April 22. Maine South will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Wildkits come into the match with a 1-7 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL).
