Michigan High School Softball - Mt. Pleasant bounces Marlette

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Mt. Pleasant Oilers softball team scored a nice 17-4 win over the Marlette Red Raiders.
The Oilers (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Vestaburg (Vestaburg, MI). The Wolverines come into the non-league match with a 8-0 record. In their last match, Vestaburg notched a victory over Montabella (Blanchard, MI), 20-5, in a league match.
In their next game, the Red Raiders confront the Webberville Spartans (Webberville, MI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 19. Marlette will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Spartans come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 14-4 non-league win over Fulton (Middleton, MI).
