In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Whitney Young Dolphins softball team scored a tight 2-1 win over the Minooka Indians.
The Dolphins (8-7) will now prepare for their match against Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Grizzlies come into the Chicago Public Red match with a 4-9 record. In their last match, Payton College Prep nipped Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL), 13-2, in a league match.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL) in a Suburban Prairie - South match, on Monday, April 21. Minooka will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 3-11 record after their 10-9 league loss to Oswego East (Oswego, IL).
