The Princeton Tigers triumphed over the visiting Monmouth-Roseville Titans softball squad by a count of 10-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Erie-Prophetstown Panthers (Erie, IL) in a Three Rivers East challenge, on Monday, April 21. Princeton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Sherrard (Sherrard, IL).
The Titans (4-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL). The Rockets enter the Three Rivers West challenge with a 10-3 record. In their last challenge, Rockridge overcame Mercer County (Aledo, IL), 8-2, in a league challenge.
