New Jersey High School Softball - Passaic Valley sneaks past Morristown

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Passaic Valley Hornets softball team scored a tight 7-6 win over the Morristown Colonials.
The Hornets (8-0) will now prepare for their match against Fair Lawn (Fair Lawn, NJ). The Cutters come into the Big North - Independence match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Fair Lawn nipped Pascack Hills (Montvale, NJ), 12-4, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Colonials battle the West Morris Mendham Minutemen (Mendham, NJ) in a NJAC - National match, on Monday, April 21. Morristown will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Minutemen come into the match with a 0-5 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Parsippany Hills (Parsippany, NJ).
