Illinois High School Softball - South Elgin edges Neuqua Valley

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting South Elgin Storm softball team scored a tight 5-3 win over the Neuqua Valley Wildcats.
The Storm (10-3) will now prepare for their match against Lockport (Lockport, IL). The Porters come into the non-league match with a 9-8 record. In their last match, Lockport nipped Sandburg (Orland Park, IL), 10-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL) in a DuPage Valley match, on Monday, April 21. Neuqua Valley will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Barbs come into the match with a 8-3 record after their 8-4 league loss to Naperville Central (Naperville, IL).
