Valley Cavaliers (Bingham, ME) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Richmond Bobcats (Richmond, ME), 15-5 in a league game.

With the triumph, Valley improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Cavaliers host Telstar (Bethel, ME) to play the Rebels in a Class D South game on Tuesday, April 22. The Rebels enter the game with a record of 0-0.

The Bobcats now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Wiscasset for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 23.
