Centralia Orphans (Centralia, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Altamont Indians (Altamont, IL), 5-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Centralia upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Orphans travel to Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL) to battle the Crusaders in a South Seven test on Tuesday, April 5. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 1-3.

With the defeat, Altamont falls to 3-4 on the season. The Indians travel to Brownstown (Brownstown, IL) to battle the Bombers in a non-league test on Monday, April 4. The Bombers come into the test with a record of 1-1. Brownstown won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Okaw Valley (Bethany, IL)
