The Berthoud Spartans baseball team scored 21 runs and limited the visiting Thornton Trojans to 1 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Spartans (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Frederick (Frederick, CO). The Warriors go into the 4A/3A Longs Peak match with a 0-6 record.
The Trojans (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Aurora Central (Aurora, CO). The Trojans go into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Aurora Central gained a win over Adams City (Commerce City, CO), 18-3, in a non-league match.
