The Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers the host Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars baseball team by a tally of 6-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Hilltoppers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bunnell for a non-league bout on Monday, April 4.
Next, the Cougars face the New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT) in a Southwest - Colonial bout, on Tuesday, April 5. Kolbe-Cathedral will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Green Wave enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 9-7 non-league loss to Stamford (Stamford, CT).
