The Creighton Prep Junior Jays baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host St. Dominic Crusaders to 0 in the Junior Jays non-league victory on Saturday.
The Junior Jays (10-0) will now prepare for their match against Bellevue West (Bellevue, NE). The Thunderbirds go into the A District 1 match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Bellevue West was overwhelmed by Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE), 7-6, in a non-league match.
The Crusaders (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Winfield (Winfield, MO). The Warriors go into the Class 4 District 5 match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Winfield gained a win over Louisiana (Louisiana, MO), 2-1, in a non-league match.
