The Lyman Memorial Bulldogs got by the visiting Killingly Redmen baseball team by a count of 8-7 in Saturday's league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Coventry for a non-league bout on Monday, April 4.
Next, the Redmen face the St. Bernard Saints (Uncasville, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut - North bout, on Tuesday, April 5. Killingly will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Saints enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 9-4 non-league loss to Stonington (Stonington, CT).
