In Saturday's non-league game, the host Teutopolis Wooden Shoes baseball team scored a tight 7-2 victory over the Lisle Lions.
The Wooden Shoes (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Effingham (Effingham, IL). The Flaming Hearts go into the non-league game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Effingham was overwhelmed by Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL), 12-9, in a league game.
