The Fairfax Lions held off the host Maywood Academy Nighthawks volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lions now have a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South East for a non-league test on Saturday, April 2. Fairfax will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 3-2 league win over Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 10-8.
The Nighthawks (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Robert F. Kennedy Community (Los Angeles, CA). The Bobcats enter the non-league test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Robert F. Kennedy Community was nudged by Los Angeles (Los Angeles, CA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
