The Lyons Lions held off the visiting Lockport Porters volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Lions now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chicago Mt. Carmel for a non-league test on Saturday, April 2. Lyons will confront a Caravan team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lockport (Lockport, IL). The Caravan record now stands at 2-7.

The Porters (11-2) will now prepare for their test against Richards (Oak Lawn, IL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Richards held off Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL), 2-1, in a non-league test.
