The Maywood Academy Nighthawks volleyball team (Maywood, CA), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Robert F. Kennedy Community Bobcats (Los Angeles, CA)

The Bobcats (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Rancho Dominguez (Long Beach, CA). The Lobos enter the non-league challenge with a 10-2 record. In their last challenge, Rancho Dominguez was dropped by San Pedro (San Pedro, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Nighthawks meet the Torres Toros (Los Angeles, CA) in a Southern challenge, on Monday, April 4. Maywood Academy will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Toros enter the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Central City Value (Los Angeles, CA).
