Salem Hills Skyhawks (Salem, UT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Uintah Utes (Vernal, UT), 7-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Salem Hills upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season.
With the defeat, Uintah falls to 6-2 on the season. The Utes host Union (Roosevelt, UT) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Monday, April 4. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 0-2. Union lost 8-1 in their recent non-league test against Uintah (Vernal, UT)
