In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Bayfield Wolverines soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the James Irwin Jaguars.
The Wolverines (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Pagosa Springs (Pagosa Springs, CO). The Pirates come into the 3A Southwest battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Pagosa Springs was nudged by Manitou Springs (Manitou Springs, CO), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
The Jaguars (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Woodland Park (Woodland Park, CO). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Woodland Park nudged Mitchell (Colorado Springs, CO), 11-1, in a non-league battle.
