With the victory, DeKalb moves its record to 1-3 on the year. The Barbs travel to Metea Valley (Aurora, IL) to confront the Mustangs in a DuPage Valley bout on Tuesday, April 5. The Mustangs enter the bout with a record of 4-0. Metea Valley won 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL)

In their next game, the Knights confront the Guilford Vikings (Rockford, IL) in a Northern Illinois NIC-10 bout, on Monday, April 4. Rockford Auburn will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 6-0 league win over Jefferson (Rockford, IL).
