Mercy Monarchs (Omaha, NE) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Omaha Central Eagles (Omaha, NE), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Monarchs confront the Platteview Trojans (Springfield, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 4. Mercy will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to Duchesne (Omaha, NE).
The Eagles now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Omaha Westside for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 7. Omaha Central will confront a Warriors team coming off a 10-0 league win over Benson (Omaha, NE). The Warriors record now stands at 3-3.
