Curry Yellowjackets (Jasper, AL) boosters went home content Saturday as they witnessed their softball squad hold off the visiting South Lamar Stallions (Millport, AL), 6-2 in a non-league bout.

The Yellowjackets (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Oak Grove (Bessemer, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Oak Grove was routed by Lafayette (Lexington, KY), 9-1, in a non-league outing.

The Stallions (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Gordo (Gordo, AL). The Green Wave enter the non-league outing with a 1-3 record.
