In Saturday's non-league test, the host Concord-Carlisle Patriots lacrosse squad scored a good 12-2 victory over the Newburyport Clippers.
The Patriots now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cambridge Rindge & Latin for a non-league test on Monday, April 4. Concord-Carlisle will face a Falcons squad coming off a 20-3 non-league win over Somerville (Somerville, MA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-0.
In their next game, the Clippers face the Triton Regional Vikings (Byfield, MA) in a Cape Ann test, on Wednesday, April 6. Newburyport will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 16-9 league win over North Reading (North Reading, MA).
