In Saturday's non-league battle, the host West Ashley Wildcats soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Bishop England Battling Bishops.
The Wildcats (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against Stall (Charleston, SC). The Warriors go into the AAAAA Region 8 battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Stall was nudged by Ashley Ridge (Summerville, SC), 2-0, in a league battle.
The Battling Bishops (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against North Charleston (North Charleston, SC). The Cougars go into the AAA Region 8 battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, North Charleston was nudged by Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 10-0, in a league battle.
