The Bingham Miners softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Richfield Wildcats to 6 in the Miners non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Bingham moves its record to 11-1 on the year. The Miners travel to Mountain Ridge (Herriman, UT) to clash with the Sentinels in a 6A Region 3 game on Tuesday, April 5. The Sentinels come into the game with a record of 11-3. Mountain Ridge lost 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Cyprus (Magna, UT)

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Grand County Red Devils (Moab, UT) in a 3A Region 12 game, on Tuesday, April 5. Richfield will attempt to move on its 6-12 season record. The Red Devils come into the game with a 2-10 record after their 18-0 league loss to Canyon View (Cedar City, UT).
