Northmont Thunderbolts (Clayton, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bradford Railroaders (Bradford, OH), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Thunderbolts now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shawnee for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 5. Northmont will battle a Braves squad coming off a 13-10 league win over London (London, OH). The Braves record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Bradford falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Railroaders travel to Miamisburg (Miamisburg, OH) to battle the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 4. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 4-1. Miamisburg lost 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Lakota West (West Chester, OH)
