Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers (Bradley, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Pontiac Indians (Pontiac, IL), 10-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Boilermakers now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bolingbrook for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 5.
With the loss, Pontiac falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Indians travel to St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL) to battle the Sabers in a Illini Prairie challenge on Monday, April 4. The Sabers enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. St. Thomas More lost 7-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Armstrong (Armstrong, IL)
