California High School Softball - Rio Mesa can't hold off Canyon View

The Canyon View Jaguars softball team scored 3 runs and limited the host Rio Mesa Spartans to 2 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Canyon View improves its record to 14-5 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ) to clash with the Knights in a 5A Desert West game on Tuesday, April 5. The Knights come into the game with a record of 18-2. Lake Havasu won 26-0 in their recent non-league game against Independence (Glendale, AZ)
In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Pacifica Tritons (Oxnard, CA) in a Pacific View game, on Tuesday, April 5. Rio Mesa will attempt to improve on its 13-6 season record. The Tritons come into the game with a 5-10 record after their 14-1 league loss to Ventura (Ventura, CA).
